- Provide assistance to our Veterinarians and Technicians.
- Take pets’ weight and other vital signs upon arrival.
- Provide low stress patient restraint during procedures and examinations.
- Provide assistance during radiology procedures.
- Clean and maintain the surgical room in preparation for procedures.
- Prepare instruments and medications as directed by veterinary personnel.
- Adhere to hospital’s safety and wellness regulations.
- Educate clients about our wellness and treatment plans.
- Observes patients for obvious signs of health concerns and report to veterinarian or senior staff.
- Prepare patient meals, sanitize patient cages and bedding, and maintain litter boxes.
- Fill in for kennel duty when needed.
- Help answer phones, check clients in/out, and make boarding reservations.
- At least 1 year experience in the veterinary field.
- Experience with Cornerstone software preferred but not required.
