We are not just a general practice, we strive to make an impression and educate our clients on their pets health and well-being, and provide many services from wellness exams, routine surgeries, specialty surgeries, emergencies, critical care and overnight patient care monitoring. We also offer more advanced services such as Laparoscopy, endoscopy, acupuncture, ultrasonography, digital radiology, and laser therapy to name a few! We offer in-house point of care diagnostics so we can get a quick diagnosis and treatment plan for our patients in a timely manner. Veterinary Technician Assistants aid in general office duties, assist technicians and doctors with restraint/general care of patients, client service, and cleanliness/organization of the hospital facility.
Some Essential Functions Include:
· Provide compassionate care for pets
· Ensure the lobby, check out area, and restroom is clean, odor free and presentable to clients at all times.
· Turn around and keep exam rooms cleaned, organized, stocked between patient in-room exams.
· Ensure rooms are stocked and set up based on presented schematics, and brochure racks are maintained.
· Ensure rooms are clean, always organized, and odor/debris free and ready for clients
· Assist with check in, check out, answering phones, scheduling appointments.
· Assist in bringing patients/client into exam rooms/in the back when directed.
· Help clean, wrap, sterilize surgical packs; keep prep are clean and organized.
· Walk patients when scheduled/as needed throughout day as directed by medical staff.
And other tasks assigned related to assisting Veterinary Technicians and Doctors.
Graduates with less than 1yr experience Start at $18.00/hr
Non-Graduates with more than 1yr OTJ experience Start at $17.00/hr
