High volume ophthalmic group is seeking a full time EXPERIENCED ophthalmic/optometric technician. Offering competitive salary with benefits. Some travel required and bilingual is preferred.
Summary of Responsibilities
The Ophthalmic/Optometric Assistant supports physicians with eye exams, diagnostic testing and surgical procedures.
List of Responsibilities/Duties
Performing technical workups, patient interviews and special testing. To include the following:
- refractions
- lensometry
- visual fields
- A-Scans
- corneal topography
- travel required to satellite locations.
Minimum Education Requirements
- High School diploma
- Successful completion of JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour
