We are a 100% physician-owned free-standing emergency room in Pearland. We are a fully-equipped ER with low volume (5-10 patients per 24 hrs). Our facility is nestled in the heart of Pearland, Texas. It is a peaceful, scenic, and community-oriented area with superb schools located 15 miles southeast from downtown Houston and 50 miles from the Gulf of Mexico.
Our community members are quiet, friendly, and affluent. Expect to work in an environment that still appreciates the patients, values the staff, and respects the doctor–patient relationship. Our patients know us and love us. We pride ourselves as a concierge provider. We are looking for warm, patient, caring physicians with ER experience. We do not see high acuity patients or knife and gun club patients.
It is a very pleasant situation: great location, wonderful parking, great nearby restaurants, wonderful staff to work with, good pay, and a safe environment.
Minimum Qualifications
—MD or DO
—TX medical license required.
—ACLS, PALS and ATLS certification unless ABEM or equivalent.
—FM, EM, or IM with a minimum of 1 year ER experience.
Essential Functions:
—See and evaluate patients in a concierge-style. PT or FT
—Core values: Professionalism, respect, diligence
— 5-10 patients per 24 hour shift on average. 7 beds.
—48 or 72 hour shifts if requested
—Independent contractor/1099 status, malpractice included
—Administrative support team present at all times
