At GW Eye Associates, we provide provide professional eye exams in an unhurried environment. We are best known for our friendly concierge level customer service as well as our advanced diagnostic equipment. We offer a large selection of unique and contemporary eyewear such as Tom Ford, Gucci, Maui Jim, Oakley, and l.a. Eyeworks. We also specialize in contacts lenses and LASIK consultation.
We are looking for a friendly and courteous Optical Sales Associate to assist in eyeglass/sunglasses sales and to perform a variety of administrative tasks. The duties of the Sale Assistant include providing support to our doctors and employees, assisting in daily sales and other general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral communication skills and be computer saavy. If you have previous experience in sales or the optometry industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Sales Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Optician with eyeglass orders
- Schedule appointments
- Assist in the maintenance and inventor of the frame merchandise
- Confirm eyeglass delivery appointments
- Enter sales data into Excel spreadsheet
- Provide general support to visitors
Skills
- Proficiency in the use of copy and fax machines
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification in sales will be a plus
