What you NEED to KNOW (the requirements):
To join our team, you must:
- have a reliable vehicle, active auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
- be able to pass an extensive criminal background check (including searches for felonies, misdemeanors, and reviewing the Family Care Safety registry)
- You must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- You must be willing & able to support clients with personal care including bathing, showering, changing depends or soiled clothing, toileting, personal hygiene, and personal grooming activities
- You must be willing to learn & utilize transfer skills including, stand-pivot transfers, Hoyer lifts, gait belts, other mobility devices, etc.
- You must be able to pass a standard 9-panel pre-employment drug screening
- You must be available to work a weekend rotation (every other weekend/every Saturday/ every Sunday)
- You must be willing to assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed
