We are seeking an experienced and energetic full-time veterinary technician to join our growing team. Our practices are equipped with the latest digital x-ray equipment, latest model in-house IDEXX/ Heska labs, in-house pharmacy, excellent surgical monitoring capabilities, such as automated digital ventilators (in some of our locations) and much more. All our practices are fully computerized and use electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care.
  • Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Assist and monitoring in surgeries and procedures.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Perform physical assessments and document information in an electronic medical record.
  • Ability to draw blood, administer vaccines, and other medications, placing IV catheters, assist with dental procedures.
  • Manage inventory of the clinic.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile work environment. Organize treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.

Education and Licensure Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) desirable but not required.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience as a veterinary technician.

Personal Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Experienced in teamwork approach and works well with all hospital team members.
  • Has excellent client communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the USA
