Devereux Arizona’s Meet Me Where I Am program provides in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families and identifying strengths and needs to enhance the Child and Family Team (CFT) planning process. We work with families and youths in their homes, teaching a variety of skills ranging from self-care, household management, living, and social skills.
Lead Behavior Coaches help maintain contractual requirements and program services for the betterment of Devereux and assist Program Coordinators in the development and implementation of their assigned program. This position provides in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families (working with children, youth, and adults) under the Arizona 12 Principles and in conjunction with the Child and Family Team Model. We are looking for talented individuals who have experience working in Behavioral Health, with families and at-risk youth to be a positive role model and impact on our families!

- Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday *Schedules can vary on some days based on the needs of the program. Some flexibility for evening/weekend hours may be needed.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience as a Behavior Coach is preferred
- With High School Diploma or GED, has at least four (4) years of full-time behavioral health experience OR
- With Associates degree, has at least two (2) years of full-time behavioral health experience OR
- With Bachelor’s degree, has at least one (1) year of full-time behavioral health experience
- Previous experience in event coordination and documentation
- Proficient with MS Office products, email, internet, and basic database navigation.
OTHER:
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License & pass DMV 39-month history check
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
- Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
- Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
- Attend paid full time new hire orientation Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
