Job Summary:

  • In this role, you will provide appropriate customer service to all patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers utilizing AIDET while showing courtesy, compassion and respect.
  • You will partner with clinical staff in the design, development, and implementation of POC policies and procedures.
  • Your role audits all testing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations imposed by the government and any other accrediting bodies.
  • You will evaluate and recommend POCT methodologies and equipment.
  • You role performs method validation for POCT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduation from a NCCLS accredited Medical Technology program;
  • TN State Clinical Lab Med Technologist required
  • 5 years clinical experience required
