Optometrist/Ophthalmologist needed to perform one-time Veteran Disability Assessments (C&P Exams) on an independent 1099 contract basis.
There is no treatment required, this exam will include an eye examination, and medical record review if requested. Exams will include a field of vision test.
An active state license/certification in good standing without significant sanctions or malpractice claims is required.
Providers have the freedom to decide the availability to perform exams and maintain the right to set their own schedule. Very easy to incorporate into a busy practice since you determine the schedule.
This particular opportunity does require an established practice that you own or have permission to utilize for these exams.
The reimbursement for these exams is as follows:
Eye Exam w/ Report Package $150
Perimeter Test $40
Medical Options $75 – $350
