Why We Do What We Do

  • ProScribe is committed to innovatively supporting healthcare providers of today while investing in those of tomorrow. We are a passionate and hardworking team of physicians, business leaders, and healthcare-focused students dedicated to improving the overall quality of healthcare.

How it Started

  • Founded in 2010 in San Antonio, ProScribe began hiring passionate pre-medical students to provide in-person administrative support to local healthcare providers. This support improved productivity by accelerating the speed and quality of EHR documentation and allowed physicians to put the focus back on what is most important – the patients – and pre-medical students the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge of the medical field.

How it’s Going

  • We’ve successfully scaled to become an Inc. 5,000 fastest-growing company (3 years in a row!) that provides entry-level in-person and virtual medical scribe services to emergency departments and clinics nationwide. Since 2010, we’ve employed 10,000+ healthcare-focused students and recent graduates.

By embracing a growth mindset and a culture that centers around a passion for the medical field, barrier-free collaboration and communication, camaraderie, and operational excellence, we are able to provide exceptional services to physicians by providing exceptional learning and working environments for our employees.
