JOB DESCRIPTION:

Newly designed Pre-Anesthesia Testing department (PAT) is looking for LPNs to work directly with APRN and RN colleagues to assist with the pre anesthesia patient population. Ensuring patient safety and readiness for any anesthesia assisted procedure is the primary function. This is done through preoperative phone calls to patients utilizing clinical protocols to identify any concerns and clear patients for surgery. APRN is available for all escalation needs. This position can flex to a hybrid remote position once individual is fully oriented, and all proficiency goals reached.

EDUCATION:

Licensed Practice Nurse, currently licensed in Vermont or a graduate LPN who is license-eligible for the first time and awaiting State Board results.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of six months experience in an appropriate clinical setting. Demonstrates the ability to perform the skills required of a LPN II.
