Healthcare Lead (RN, LVN or LPT) – Hotel California by the Sea – Blue Ash, OH

Hotel California by the Sea (HCBTS) is a dual-diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center located in Huntington Beach, CA with other facilities located in Bellevue, WA and Cincinnati, OH. At HCBTS we offer various levels of care from partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and aftercare. HCBTS is looking for a dynamic, flexible, passionate individual to join our outstanding team!!


We are now seeking qualified RN’S, LVN’S & LPT’S to join our team as a Healthcare Lead at our withdrawal management facility in Cincinnati, OH.


Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and direction to healthcare team, in conjunction with the Nursing Supervisor and Nursing Administrator
  • Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards and disciplinary action in conjunction with the Nursing Supervisor and Nursing Administrator and with assistance of HR
  • Maintain employee work schedules including replacement coverage, training, vacation approval, sick time coverage and overtime scheduling. Time sheet approval within required timeframe
  • Work with HR and upper management to recruit, interview and selection of new employees
  • Mentor and assist in the development of staff including new employee onboarding and training
  • Communicate client appointments, medication information, test results and further client info to the assigned provider while also maintaining consistent and prompt communication with the treatment team regarding clients care
  • Educate clients on prescribed medications and observe clients medication regimen
  • Measures and records clients vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration when required.
  • Observe different types of withdrawal symptoms and report according to the protocol
  • Maintain accurate client charts
  • Poses the ability to communicate professionally and proficiently with the medical team as well as other employees
  • Familiar with detox protocols and procedures
  • Maintains compliance with HIPPA regulations, State and Joint Commission policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current LVN,RN or Psych Tech Licenses in the State of Ohio
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification (company will provide)
  • 1-year experience in Detox preferred
  • Familiar with basic detox protocols and procedures
  • JCAHO experience preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and staff
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of withdrawal management preferred
  • Knowledge of treatment medications preferred
