Job Summary • Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm with rotating weekends. • Support the department with clerical and direct patient care duties. • Must be caring, compassionate, organized, and adaptable to change. • Greets all patients, visitors and staff to the department in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
- Receives, directs and takes messages for incoming phone calls. • Facilitates communication between staff, management and Medical Staff. • Assists with maintaining files and paperwork necessary for department. • Assist with direct care of patients under the direct supervision of the nurse staff while practicing within the stated guidelines of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Job Requirements • High school graduate or equivalent required. • Current licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Nebraska or Iowa required. • Current BLS certification required. • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
