Admissions Behavioral Health Teach – Signature Pyschiatric Hospital – North Kansas City, MO

(Saturday/Sun) only form 8am-8:30pm

The Admissions Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) works collaboratively with the admissions and nursing staff. The primary responsibility is to support patients during the intake process. Mental Health Technicians work under the general direction of the Admissions Manager and/or Director of A&R.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Degree or equivalent.

Experience: Previous related healthcare experience, with behavioral healthcare patients, is strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of CPR Certification and successful completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) provided during new employee orientation. May be required to work flexible hours.

SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, sterile techniques, and medical terminology.
• Basic computer knowledge.
