Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resource functions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Office Manager:

The Office Manager is responsible for coordinating all office activities including: medical records, data entry, maintaining patient records, preparing for all meetings, coordinating all telephone calls and maintaining sufficient office supplies. The Office Manager is responsible to the Administrator and the Program Director and assists with: direct patient expenditures coordination, employee time sheets, personnel records and billing liaison.

HR Generalist:

Maintains current knowledge of Human Resources. Keeps education up to date. Utilizes usage of outside resources to monitor regulation changes as they relate to HR. Have a go to source for questions, consultations, etc. Communicates upcoming and/or changes regarding HR to the HR Committee and staff.

Hiring Process: Advertising / recruiting new employees in appropriate formats and venues. Routing applicant information to appropriate managers and monitoring status of applicants through all stages of interviewing / hiring process. Reference and background checks. On Boarding and Off Boarding Management: Following On Boarding and Off Boarding procedures including: Assets-Monitoring, Assigning and tracking of equipment to employees, as well as the collection of equipment and supplies at the termination of employment. Software Management: Oversee the automation of employee related software, processes and databases. Reporting / teaching of updates to Management team and employees. Assigning and managing of logins for employees in the software that is specific to the employee’s position. Employee Tracking: employee credentials, certifications, education and evaluations due and reporting to the appropriate personnel in a timely fashion. As well as timely registering of employees for educational seminars, CPR, etc as appropriate. Payroll Management: Responsible for the coordination of timely payroll submission, tracking, and reporting for all departments. Benefit Oversight and Management – to monitor benefit administration to employees for proper benefits, including enrollment in health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off and 401k as per Excell policies. To monitor termination of benefits with employee status changes and/or termination of employment. Collaborates with various resources to ensure employee benefits are up to date. Benefit changes, enrollments and other HR related topics to be well communicated to staff. Worker’s Compensation Management: Gathering, submitting, tracking and reporting of Workers Compensation cases to proper agencies and managers. Updating job descriptions and job processes. Updating corporate policies when indicated and communicating updates to staff as appropriate. Keeping employee handbooks and policies up to date on company server and in payroll management system. Monitoring and reporting on employee morale. Collaboration with HR Committee to identify feedback & activities to increase employee morale and promote retention. Scheduling / coordinating employee events and quarterly meetings. Coordination of Employee Events Committee. Assists with special projects and other duties as needed. Training: Oversight of employee safety training, to include disaster drills, fire safety etc. Participates in agency activities including attendance at staff meetings and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Degree, certification or job related experience in human resource field.
