Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
Full-time, Part-time and PRN
Wage: Starting at $17.00 per hour; based on experience
Shifts Available: Several Shift Options Available!!
- 12 hour shift – 6am til 6pm
- 8 hour shifts – 6am til 2pm OR 2pm til 10pm OR 10pm til 6am
Responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of the Assisted Living Director, passes medication and provides treatments according to physicians orders and in accordance with facility policy.
- Reports changes in residents condition immediately to the Assisted Living Director.
- Practices good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
- Provides restorative care to residents as assigned by the Assisted Living Director or as indicated in the overall plan of care.
Qualifications:
The Certified Medication Aide must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge to obtain certification as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
