Job Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Pay: Based on experience starting between $26.00 – $35.07
Shift Differential:
$4/hr.
Shift diff starts at 3:00pm and in order to obtain shift diff, the majority of your shift must be after 3:00pm (minimum of 5 hours).
Example: if you work 11:00am – 7:00pm – you do not get shift diff because 3:00pm – 7:00pm is 4 hours. There must be a minimum of 5.
Shift/Hours: Full-Time, 36 hours/week. 12-hour shifts
Day Shift: 7am-7:30pm
Night Shift: 7pm-7:30am
*Will receive schedule 6 weeks ahead of time
Holiday/Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend.
Rotate Holidays (One Major – Christmas/Thanksgiving and one minor).
Responsibilities:
Examine and treat patients with respiratory illness or disorders. Operate ventilators and other equipment. Conduct, perform and analyze diagnostic and function tests. RRTs go throughout the hospital on the high acuity units (ICU, ER, Trauma, etc.)
Must Haves:
License: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential for the state of Ohio
*No action on licensure
Certification: BLS
Experience: Will take new grads w/ clinical rotations included on resume – RRT must be passed prior.
