You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. The Medical Assistant is a member of a team of professionals dedicated to providing quality healthcare to a patient. The Medical Assistant participates in patient care by helping with care management, assisting the physician, performing various nursing tasks, and acting as a communication link between the patient and the physician and other healthcare providers in the community. Successful candidate must hold a current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (from the American Association of Medical Assistants), or as a Registered Medical Assistant (from the American Medical Technologists Institute of Education) or the equivalent. We do require that all employees receive the flu vaccine as well as the COVID vaccine.
This position is full time. Hours will be: Monday & Wednesday from 12pm-8pm, Tuesday,Thursday & Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm rotating Saturday mornings from 8:30am-1pm.
