JOB TITLE: CNA | Certified Nursing Assistants
DEPARTMENT: Rosa Coplon Living Center | Skilled Nursing
STATUS: Full-Time
SHIFT: Day, Evening, Nights
As an essential member of our Skilled Nursing team, our CNAs work closely with our residents and assist nurse leaders. Develop and grow your clinical knowledge of direct patient care under the leadership of our expert nursing team!
CNA RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver personalized and compassionate nursing care for our residents.
- Follow the treatment plan for the resident, including but not limited to, assisting with toileting, ambulation, eating, dressing, or range of motion.
- Perform and assist with rehabilitative nursing care congruent with a resident plan of care.
- Report any change in the residents’ condition or behavior to a Supervisor.
ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESSFUL CNAs:
- A current NYS CNA certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Sensitivity and genuine empathy for the geriatric population
