Sign on bonuses for full time RNS: Day shift $7,500 for up to 2 years of experience, $10,000 for 2+ years. Night shift $10,000 for up to 2 years of experience, $15,000 for 2+ years.
Varied openings, full time day or night 12 hour shifts, 7 am – 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, including holiday and every 3rd weekend rotation.
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Cardiac Stepdown (CSD) is a combined unit with18 beds; 12 beds on the ICU and 6 beds on CSD. There is 24//7 coverage from our tele-ICU team of critical care providers and nurses on our ICU unit. Nurses in ICU/CSD pride themselves on teamwork–that is why nursing staff never feel they are on their own. You will work alongside a great team of nurses, house supervisors, telemetry techs, and patient care techs that will welcome your questions and support you during your shift. You’ll be led by a director who has created a culture that is inviting, fair, and encourages ideas from nurses to participate in the decision-making processes.As an RN with Ascension Via Christi, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
