As an individual contributor on the Data Science & Analytics team, you will use your experience with healthcare claims data, your programming experience in SQL, and your analytic skills to help develop new products, provide analytics and clinical outcomes reporting to our customers, and supply data-driven insights to our clinical teams. In this role you will report to the Director of Data Science & Analytics and join an experienced team of data science professionals and analysts who measure the value and improve the effectiveness of Landmark’s clinical operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Extract healthcare utilization and financial data with guidance and direction from a manager and others on the team to address business questions regarding population health management, health and economic outcomes, quality of healthcare, and product design
  • Use SQL and Tableau to report on healthcare utilization trends and financial savings derived from the Landmark Health program
  • Track issues with reports, including defects in logic, data quality problems, and process errors
  • Work with data warehouse team to assist monitor data quality and assist in the development of corrective action plans
  • Support analytical research projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of health care industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience programming in SQL
  • Demonstrated solid organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience
  • Demonstrated solid business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to identify relationships in data sets, determine key fields, and present findings unassisted

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in statistics, social science, public health, mathematics, economics, or epidemiology
  • Experience using statistical methods to evaluate healthcare claims data and experience with reporting tools such as Tableau

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
