The Endoscopy Department at Mon Health Medical Center is a 14 pre/post op/PACU beds with 5 procedural rooms and a scope reprocessing area. There are approximately 20-30 procedures per day.
Procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy and more advanced pulmonary procedures, as well as Pill Cam, Bravo, and manometry. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and closed weekends and holidays. The Pre/post/PACU area is comprised of RNs who rotate 6 a.m. -2:30 p.m.; 7 a.m. -3:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekly; the department also consists of Clinical Assistants, schedulers, Surgical Techs and Scope Reprocessing Techs. BLS and ACLS is required; Med/Surg experience and OR experience is preferred.

Education Requirements:
Incumbent must be a graduate of school of nursing.
Experience Requirements:
Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families.
Certifications/ Licensure Requirements:
Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.
