Licensed Practical Nurse
What you’ll be doing:
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
- Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Ideal candidate must possess strong clinical knowledge in various geriatric disease processes and be proficient in performing head-to-toe assessments, wound care, blood draws, to name a few.
Job Requirements:
- Active IN Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have a minimum of two years of LPN experience – with home health or hospice experience preferred
- Able to participate in the clinical field on call rotation if needed
- Able to travel the assigned territory
- Active CPR certification
- Able to attend a full clinical training in the Carmel office
- Active driver license and reliable transportation
- Electronic documentation experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour
