Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is a five doctor, full-service practice that offers preventative care, surgery, dentistry, reiki, acupuncture, and laser therapy. Our veterinarians and senior staff are all Fear Free certified, and our specialty is providing high quality care with a personal touch.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about patient care, self-motivated, and have a warm, friendly personality. This position is full time, either Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday, with some flexibility with scheduling required.
Applicants must have at least two years of experience working in a veterinary hospital, exceptional animal handling skills and excellent technical skills including: venipuncture, injections, IV catheter placement, radiography, surgical preparation/assistance, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery. Experience with Cornerstone software, low stress handling techniques, and/ or Fear Free Certification is preferred.
We are a fast- paced practice and this position is physically demanding. Applicants must be comfortable being on their feet for long periods of time and be able to lift animals weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
