Front Desk Receptionist – Westgate Dental Care – Arlington Heights, IL

Westgate Dental Care is seeking a highly motivated individual to work at the reception desk in our front office. If you are highly organized, consider yourself a “people person” and if you enjoy making conversation and putting people at ease, this could be the opportunity for you!

We are not a corporate dental office. We are owned and operated by Dr Kics, and since opening the practice in 2002, we’ve grown from 4 employees to 50. Job Responsibilities:

Patient experience

  • Ensure a positive experience by being helpful and upbeat
  • Greet and schedule patients on telephone and in person, take detailed phone messages
  • Walkout patients, verify procedures completed, collect payment, and submit insurance
  • Confirm next day’s appointments and next week’s recalls scheduled 6 months in advance
  • Ensure friendly interaction and communication between patients and coworkers

Front office reception

  • Have patient complete paper work and enter all pertinent patient information into practice management software, acquire the necessary signatures
  • Answer phones
  • Verify insurance eligibility and frequencies per patient or family
  • Enter the breakdown of benefits per employer
  • Update computer system and sign with patient birthdays and any other current events
  • Get mail, enter and scan payments and referral documents
  • Make sure waiting room is neat and tidy
  • Keep reception area clean and dusted
  • Requirements:

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • Customer Service and/or sales experience is a huge plus!

Monday-Friday 11:30am-7:30pm with alternating Saturdays * (see below)

* Alternating Saturdays: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. If you are scheduled to work on Saturday, you will have one day off during the week.

We are a Patient-Centric dental office open six days a week. We offer hours to fit our patients’ busy lives. Our patient hours:

· Monday- Friday 7am-7pm

· Saturdays 8am-5pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
