The Medical Assistant (MA) provides effective customer service to both internal and external customers in providing medical and office support services to Behavioral Health Medical Professional (BHMP), Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PNP), Medical Doctors and Nurse Practitioners within the clinical settings. The MA is responsible for the direct support, office management functions, and other administrative duties as assigned. Position ensures the confidentiality of all files, including administrative files, service member information, data information, and other records.
Qualifications
❏ Some College
❏ Certificate of completion from a Medical Assistant Program
❏ At least one to three (6 months-3) years work experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office, hospital or similar healthcare environment
❏ Current BLS/CPR certification required.
❏ Strong verbal and written communication skills
❏ Computer navigation skills
❏ Valid Arizona Drivers license, proof of current insurance and willingness to use personal vehicles.
❏ Must be at least 21 years of age.
❏ Must possess an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card or be eligible for one.
