Clinical Site Manager – Georgia Dermatology Partners – Brookhaven, GA

The Site Manager is responsible for the efficient operations of assigned office. Helps to maintain clinical quality, service excellence and customer satisfaction. Position requires a five (5) day work week. The Site Manager works under the supervision of the practice administrator and physicians, and in cooperation with other office staff in providing safe and effective patient care in compliance with established standards and protocols of Georgia Dermatology Partners.
Work with leads and supervisors to coordinate day-to-day activities in the front and back office. Provides supervision of all site assigned employees, including front office associates, medical assistants, and cosmetic staff. Directs office functions including the maintenance of patient flow, patient check-in, patient check-out, appointment scheduling, fax distribution, exam room preparation and turnover, bringing patients back to exam room, taking and recording medical history and examination findings, assisting the physicians with procedures, routing and assisting with provider messages, assisting with patient telephone calls and messages, and prescription refills as directed by the physician and/or provider.
The Site Manager should be available to oversee all department responsibilities while maintaining good patient relations, offering friendly courteous and confidential assistance to every patient ensuring the patient has a positive experience at Georgia Dermatology Partners. The Site Manager must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with patients, providers, management and co-workers at all times.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinates tasks and activities of site and personnel, supporting department staff, problem solving, and ensuring necessary work is completed timely.
Set the standard of customer service for subordinates when assisting patients, patients’ families, referring physicians and third-party carriers.
Coordinates site resource schedules, hours and duties ensuring appropriate provider support is available for all scheduled practice hours with/and has ability to step into any department position and assume responsibilities of that position as required. Approve department PTO requests and arrange coverage as needed.
Assists with decision process for hiring, terminating, promoting, or evaluating site personnel.
Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
Directs and monitors staff performance to determine individual patient and overall department needs.
Enforces the practice policy that all physicians and staff have the necessary medical and protected health information (PHI) to provide the highest quality medical care possible while protecting the confidentiality of PHI of our patients to the highest degree possible.
Prepares annual staff evaluations and recommends salary compensation adjustments working closely with Practice Administrator. Participates in employee meetings to discuss same.
Oversees site coordinator with supply inventory and order placement tasks.
Arranges for repairs of facility related issues.
Serves as a resource person to medical assistants, clinical staff, and other related professional staff in the provision of patient care.
