Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist – Part-Time
Are you an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant that “LOVES CATS”? We are looking to hire a part-time skilled Veterinary Receptionist also able to change hats and assist our Technicians while providing specialized care to our feline family of patients.
Exclusively Cats Veterinary Hospital is a small “Cat-Only” practice, set in a peaceful garden setting located in Medford, NJ. Our environment and culture allow us to provide a relaxed and positive experience for our kitties and their parents while delivering innovative medical/behavioral care and excellent client service.
Previous reception experience in an veterinary hospital required with a high emphasis on customer service, attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task. Prior experience and medical knowledge in the veterinary field is preferable. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a highly specialized field with a great team! We Are Willing To Train The Right Candidate. The Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant position is a part-time position with hours rotating during the day, evenings and weekends.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Excellent customer service
- Clear communication
- Client education
- Data entry
- Scheduling appointments
- Preparation of medical charts
- Invoicing clients
- Basic feline handling and restraint
- Weighing patients
- Obtaining detailed medical history
- Follow multi-item instructions
- Work independently
- Lift at least 50 lbs.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the facility.
