Patient Care Coordinator – Cosmetic Injectable and Surgery Practice – Ashburn, VA

The Patient Care Coordinator will be working alongside one of the most dynamic rising stars in facial plastic surgery and cosmetic injectables – Dr. Naz.

The Naz Experience refers to Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh, aka Dr. Naz. Dr. Naz’s practice is a boutique cosmetic surgery and injectables practice located in Ashburn, VA. Patients from all over the U.S. and the world come to seek Dr. Naz’s expertise in cosmetic eye surgery and cosmetic injectables as well as her eye for beauty. Dr. Naz is a board certified oculofacial plastic surgeon that specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries of the eyelid, eyebrow, orbit and lacrimal system.

We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to manage and deliver a highly supportive patient experience to cosmetic injectables and cosmetic surgery patients at our Ashburn, VA clinic. The ideal candidate will also be willing to assist Dr. Naz in surgery, although this is not required. Specific duties include the following:

  • Manage/lead a clean clinic with a consistent patient experience for injectables and surgery consults
  • Proactively review the schedule for errors or mistakes; preparing paperwork for clinics in advance
  • Prepare patients for surgery and injections
  • Lead the consultative process, discuss treatments and manage post-injection care
  • Educate patients on all products and services; educate and discuss treatment plans with the patients; present fees and estimates of treatment plans to patients
  • Prepare surgeon for all consults, including key patient information, patient wants/desires, etc.
  • Assist patients with all aspects of pre-operative preparations and post-operative care and education
  • Manage all patient questions and serve as the primary contact for customer support; answer telephone calls and emails with questions about surgical procedures, appointments and instruction. Convert phone calls into consultations.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in our patient management system
  • Prepare prescriptions for patients
  • Manage before & after photos and work cross-functionally with the marketing team to develop social media posts
  • Assist the surgeon in surgical/non-surgical procedures
  • Maintain and order surgical supplies and injectables with appropriate vendors

Qualifications/Experience

Required

  • Experience managing and overseeing clinics and high patient volumes
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of procedures and surgeries
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of patient care from new patient consult/needs assessment to post-procedure and post-surgery care management

Preferred

  • Experience working in a high-volume cosmetics practice
  • Experience assisting surgeons in surgery is a plus
  • Deep understanding of facial plastic surgeries
  • Deep understanding of cosmetic injectables and Galderma products

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
