A Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for direct patient care and coordination of services for the child and family under the direction of a registered nurse. The LPN facilitates a holistic approach to the individualized care of the children. Case management responsibilities will be required monthly and completed in a classroom setting. The LPN will educate the child and family regarding care needs and preventative strategies.
