Exempt;

Summary:

Responsible for providing professional nursing care according to specified physician orders, and in conformance with established nursing techniques, procedures, standards and Medical Center administrative nursing policies.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Current Maryland or Compact RN license
  • CPR certification – AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted

Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred or enrolled in first BSN course within 18 months of hire and BSN completed within 4 years of hire

Experience:

  • Previous acute care RN experience preferred. New Grad. nurses with an ED practicum, ED Nurse Extern exp., ED tech or EMT experience strongly considered
