Overview:

This is a Full Time Home Health Physical Therapist covering Rogers and Berryville

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. The PT will drive to patient’s homes, and the PT administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. The PT assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning. The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department and performance and quality improvement activities within the department. The PT provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines, and may complete other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy.
Licensure: Licensed in state of Arkansas as Physical Therapist. Current valid Driver’s License.
Certifications: BLS certification. Current valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of physical medicine, Physical Therapy modalities, anatomy & physiology.
Preferred Experience: One or more years of previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred
