This position is available for both experienced and inexperienced candidates in the field of Optometry/Ophthalmology. We are looking for candidates who are available 15-30 hours per week and have weekday and weekend availability.
C-Luminous EyeCare was founded on the principle that if the eyes are functioning at their fullest potential, then the whole body would be full of light. Thus, an Optometric Technician/Receptionist is an integral team member in the process of providing patients with their most optimal vision!
C-Luminous EyeCare provides superior eye care using state-of-the-art equipment in a retail setting located in the mall. The positions are available for experienced/certified Optometric/Ophthalmic Technicians. This position is a great fit especially for those interested in applying to optometry school.
The Optometric Technician/Receptionist works in a team-oriented environment to deliver outstanding patient care experience to each individual who visits our office. They greet patients and answer phone calls, check insurance eligibility, obtain health histories, administer preliminary tests and/or special tests to patients, prepare exam rooms for optometrists, instruct patients in the proper use and care of their contact lenses, place/dispense contact lens orders, bill insurances and maintain a clean environment for both patients and co-workers.
