Looking for an experienced and nurse practitioner for a full time opening, to join a well established private practice for Weight management and Gastroenterology practice. Lifestyle medicine training and primary care experience is preferable. We offer a competitive pay scale. We are located in Brighton, MA.
Essential Duties:
- Make clinical judgements based on comprehensive assessment of the history inclusive of psychological, social and environmental needs of the client.
- Develop a problem list, diagnose, screen for preventative health issues, examination, health history, and discuss patient concerns.
- Develop treatment plan within the scope of practice, appropriate follow up and collaboration with the team members.
- Keep complete problem-oriented records.
- Prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Complete chart notes within a timely manner.
Qualifications:
NP or PA certification
Demonstrated understanding of the scope of clinical competence, including physical assessment, health teaching and counseling.
- Commitment to continuing professional development through independent reading and study, and through participation in continuing education programs.
- Application of Electronic Medical Records.
