Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Pay:

Standard Rate — $40.00 per hour

Weekend Incentive Rate — $42.00 per hour

Job Description

× Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure

× Administer medications as ordered and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments

× Dress wounds, give alcohol rubs, apply compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles, bathe and dress patients, and collect blood and urine samples

× Monitor patients and chart medical records accurately

× Report the condition of a patient back to RNs and doctors

× Supervise nursing assistants if required

Requirements,

× Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

× 1 Year of experience working in a Nursing Home.

× Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of proven experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

× Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN nursing program

× Active LPN license without any felonies or active investigations noted on your license

× Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

× Ability to perform IV Infusion preferred
