Insurance Verification Specialist, M-F 9a-5:30p, some weekends and evenings required.
POSITION SUMMARY
Providing quality customer service to patients, families and referral sources during inquiry calls and the admissions process. Under the general supervision of the Admissions Team Lead; coordinates, communicates and predicts impacts to bed management, transfers and admissions from all possible points of entry and provides general oversight of patient placement. Must be flexible in scheduling and willing to work weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must demonstrate ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Must be detail-oriented with good oral and written communication skills. Customer service skills and professional communication skills needed.
Preferred ā 1+ year of experience in insurance verification in a healthcare setting. Sigmund and Salesforce experience is a plus.
