Education:
- Graduated from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- BLS required
Licensure/Certification:
- Additional Requirements based upon department:
- Critical Care/Tele: ACLS required, TNCC within one year of hire for primary ICU RN, CCRN preferred
- Acute Care: PALS within (2) two years of hire; ACLS and CMSN preferred
- Current applicable OR RN license required
Experience:
- Six months nursing experience or successful completion of nursing internship program preferred.
- Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g, email, Microsoft Office, voicemail, internet/intranet to access, organize and store job-related information.
