Caregiver for Elderly- PCA OR CNA – Angelic Hearts Home Care LLC – Macon, GA

Duties:

Our in home caregivers will assist elderly or disabled persons one on one in the comfort of the client’s homes. Providing assistance with the activities of daily living. Duties that include but are not limited to:

· Assist with Bathing / Showering

· Assist with Dressing / Undressing

· Assist with Toileting / Personal Hygiene

· Assist with Grooming

· Assist with Meal Preparation / Cooking / Serving / Feeding

· Remind to take Medications as Instructed

· Housekeeping Duties: Dishes, Sweeping, Mopping, Vacuuming, Dusting, Cleaning Bathroom, Changing Linen, Making the Bed, Laundry (washing, drying, folding, and putting away)

· Range of Motion exercises

· Run errands including shopping and outings

· Act upon emergency situations with knowledge, speed, and accuracy.

· Providing proper communication to supervisor regarding incidents, accidents, injuries, or scheduling changes.

Qualifications

· COVID Vaccinated providing proof as required by the Executive Order placed on 9/9/2021 for all Healthcare Workers

· Must be 18 years of age

· Pass Fingerprint Background Screening

· Pass Drug Screening

· Provide proof of current CPR & First Aid Certifications

· Provide Legal Photo Identification

· Provide proof of current TB Skin Test or X-Ray (when applicable)

· Pass Personal Care Assistant certification test with a minimum score of 80%

· Willingness to adhere to and enforce all workplace health and safety regulations

· Ability to perform all essential job functions

· Prior experience preferred but not required

· Knowledge and ability to use a Hoyer Lift is a plus
