BCaBA – Growing Together Behavioral Center – Jacksonville, FL

As a BCaBA at Growing Together Behavioral Center (GTBC) you will assist three amazing BCBAs in the oversight and support of a dynamic group of RBTs and phenomenal teaching staff. GTBC is a Jacksonville based non-profit school and clinic for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Student ages range from 3 – 22, with programs starting at PreK and continuing through vocational training.

We are looking to hire 1 full time or 2 part time employees, hours can be flexible. BCaBAs who are fluent in American Sign Language will be considered first.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete assessment and treatment plans for service authorizations
• Create programs and teaching plans in our electronic records management system
• Provide supervision to behavior technicians and teachers
• Prepare and facilitate on the job staff training/program modeling
• Support staff in implementation of behavior plans and safe de-escalation policies

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
• 1 year of experience implementing ABA interventions with children with ASD
• 1 year of experience designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training parents and instructors how to implement these interventions
• Experience conducting assessments: VB-MAPP, ABLLS, EFL
• Skilled at writing behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
• Creative and organized. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Positive Attitude. Strong work ethic
• A Federal and State criminal background check is required for this position
• Medicaid and Tricare credentialing complete (preferred)

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
