Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapists – Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. – Layton, UT

Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking full-time and part-time Master’s-level Clinician/Therapist candidates to join the clinical teams at the following programs:

  • Adult Mental Health Outpatient
  • Children, Youth & Families Mental Health Outpatient
  • Children, Youth & Families Mental Health Day Treatment (Quest)
  • Davis County Receiving Center (Part-time or on-call) – Part-time hourly
  • Living Well Clinic (full clinical licensure required) – Part-time per service
  • Mobile Crisis Outreach (MCOT)/Crisis Recovery Unit (CRU) – Part-time hourly

Schedule
The full-time positions are all classified and employees working in these positions are expected to work 40 hours per week. Part-time clinician positions are compensated on either an hourly rate or per service basis depending on the program.

The assigned schedule varies by position and is outlined in the job posting on the DBH Employment page.

Strong preference will be given to candidates who are bi-lingual English/Spanish; however, this is not a requirement. A Spanish-language incentive stipend is available for candidates who successfully pass a Spanish-language assessment upon hire.

Compensation
Fully-licensed clinicians working in full-time positions are compensated at an annual rate of $63,000 + credit for years of full-licensure experience as defined below

  • $63,000 to 72,905.06 per year is the approved range**
  • $63,000 annual base rate for full-licensure experience between 0 and 3 years
  • $66,000 annual base rate after 3 years + of full-licensure
  • 1% per year for each year of full-licensure between 0 and 10 years
  • 1% per year for every three years of full-licensure between 10 and 19 years
  • $3,000 Spanish-language incentive annual stipend (paid bi-weekly) available. Must pass a Spanish assessment.

Fully-licensed clinicians working in a part-time capacity are compensated at an hourly rate of $30.29 + credit for years of full-licensure experience as defined below

  • $30.29 to $35.05 per hour is the approved range
  • $30.29 hourly base rate for full-licensure experience between 0 and 3 years
  • $31.73 hourly base rate after 3 years + of full-licensure
  • 1% per year for each year of full-licensure between 0 and 10 years
  • 1% per year for every three years of full-licensure between 10 and 19 years
  • $1,500 Spanish-language incentive annual stipend (paid bi-weekly at $57.69) available. Must pass a Spanish assessment.

Clinicians working in a part-time role in the Living Well Clinic are compensated on a per service basis as outlined below:

Evaluation

  • $55 per evaluation

Individual or Family Therapy

  • $47 per session 38+ minutes in length

No-Show Appointments

  • $25 per scheduled visit (at clinicians discretion)

Required Experience

Minimum Qualifications

Master of Social Work degree from an accredited university. Must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah. Due to the population that this position will serve and restrictions established by Medicaid and Medicare, applicants who are licensed as a LCSW in the State of Utah are preferred. Possibility of filling the position with a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), or under-filling with a Certified Social Worker (CSW) who is nearing completion of full LCSW licensure may be considered.

Davis Behavioral Health utilizes an electronic medical record, which requires proficiency in computer-related skills.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
