Come join our surgical/urgent care team and get the opportunity to work alongside board-certified surgeons and highly skilled emergency doctors and as well as our incredibly talented RVT’s and assistants in an established but growing surgical/urgent care practice.
Our urgent care and surgical team are seeking an experienced front office client care representative. All candidates must have a minimum of 2 years in an emergency or specialty animal hospital environment.
Must be able/willing to work swing shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
Core Competencies
- Moderate to intermediate knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and medications
- Ability to manage front office phones and incoming clients
- Experience obtaining/documenting patient condition and history for the doctor. Triage emergency patients.
- Ability to provide professional and compassionate customer service
- Superb communication skills with clients, doctors, and staff
- Must thrive in a team environment
- Exceptional organizational skills to keep the work environment tidy, as well as to perform assignments efficiently.
- Experience performing financial transactions
- Knowledge with EzyVet, Smartboards are a plus!
This position is a 4/10-hour workweek. We are open on weekends and most holidays.
