We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Med/Surg Unit at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care. This includes provision of hygiene, passing water, changing linens, feeding patients when required, checking of vital signs, weight, and height checks, etc. This position will also assist in patient admission process, answer call lights and monitor patients. This CNA role will also help with door screening and covering in the Surgery Department when necessary.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant program and current inclusion in the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- Current CPR Certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience working with a variety of age groups preferred.
Hours: Supplemental, 0.1 FTE, 8 hours per two-week pay period. Varied hours between 7:00am – 7:30pm, Every 3rd weekend and holiday required.
