The Charge Capture Coordinator reports to Director of Charge Capture & Reimbursement.
Responsible for overseeing that all Tower Health Hospitals’ revenue-generating ancillary departments are accountable for the accuracy of their revenue, and that they consistently and compliantly capture, review, and reconcile their charges.
Performs internal audits of daily charge reconciliation by ancillary Department Heads and Nurse Leaders.
Performs Hospital Charge Description Master (CDM) tasks including periodic and annual updates to the Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) Codes. The Charge Capture Coordinators assist the Director in planning and executing revisions to charge strategies, methodologies, and prices.
Also prepares Agendas/Minutes for Service Line Meetings and conducts follow-up with ancillary Department Heads and Nurse Leaders on charging issues.

- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Relevant experience in Charge Description Master (CDM) tasks, charge capture and Craneware experience
Certification and Licensure
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Required or to be obtained within 1 year of hire date
