About the job
As a Revenue Cycle Analyst at MSM, a Tegria Company, you’ll work closely within the Revenue Cycle consulting team. As an Analyst, you will provide support to Revenue Cycle functions including Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, and Patient Accounting. This position is an opportunity for a detailed, self-motivated, organized individual to support these departments and provide value to the greater organization. You will help share your application knowledge internally, mentor others as needed, escalate issues, and generally ensure the success of projects.
The role you play
An effective Revenue Cycle Analyst will help the organization on a whole achieve success through:

• Role will be a mix of analytics and operational management working with line staff
• Work with senior consulting leaders and client staff to obtain data, structure analysis, and draw critical conclusions
• Lead small teams or assist client leaders in managing teams to achieve improved performance.
• Additional projects/tasks as assigned

What we’re looking for
We expect:

• 0-2 years in Revenue Cycle
• 0-2 years within Reporting (SQL, Epic, Tableau, Power BI)
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, providers and clients in a professional and pleasant manner
• Critical-thinking, reasoning, problem-solving skills and adaptability to change an absolute must
• Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
• Leadership aptitude strongly desired
• Follow through, time-management and prioritization imperative
• Forward thinking attitude
• Desire and ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and team within an ambiguous environment
• Technical aptitude and proven track record of learning new systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of detail and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
• 10% travel Nationally

We’d love to see:

• Prior consulting experience
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience a plus
• Epic certification
• Leadership aptitude
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, or related area preferred
