Our Ellensburg Dental Care (EDC) facility has an opening for an experienced Dental Hygienist to provide oral care to patients of our dental clinic in Ellensburg. The incumbent is responsible for the provision of high-quality clinical oral health care for patients, including examinations, x-rays, oral prophylaxis, oral hygiene instruction, nutritional counseling, fluoride treatment, and placement of sealants. Participates in dental health projects within the community.
Right now we are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment!
Job duties include:
- Updates health histories and vital signs as necessary.
- Completes radiographs based on RX or provider requests.
- Administers local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia, as per compliance with WA state law.
- Applies fluoride and protective sealants, removes calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Assist dental providers as requested.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from qualified Dental Hygienist Program required.
- A Dental Hygienist license is required.
- Prior dental experience preferred.
- Desire to work with underserved families.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
