Work You’ll do

The purpose of the role of Lead/Staff Clinician is to support senior clinical colleagues and the Managing Director/Consulting Psychologist as part of the US Firm-based Integrated Mental Health Services Team. Primary responsibilities include implementation of mental health initiatives, and execution of clinically informed, core program technologies and solutions. As a part of the team, you will create value by helping to bring together expansive subject matter expertise, deep industry experience, strategy, operations/process, technology, and people into integrated solutions and outcomes. This role is evolving, and opportunities to expand responsibilities and take on more challenging tasks will be readily available.

  • Program Development: Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of programs to support evolving initiatives.
  • Implementation of Initiatives: Offer consultation across the firm in the areas of employee behavior, mental health, performance management, and risk assessment. Deliver tailored solutions to include primary prevention/resilience support, general education/training, triage/problem assessment, treatment navigation/case management, management consultation, crisis management, specialty referrals, specialty assessments, disruptive event management, behavioral coaching, and specialty programs.
  • Cultivation of Relationships: Build strong relationships and partnerships across businesses and enhance overall visibility across the firm. Engage relationship management skills to contribute to developing top-tier referral resources and support provider relations management.
  • Operations: Provide operational support to senior staff to include program evaluation/analytics reporting, financial control process implementation/reporting, case management system maintenance, compliance activities, provider relations database assistance, marketing and communications plan execution, logistics assistance for program implementation. Assist in identifying evolving technology solutions and process improvements.
  • Training: Support the development of training curriculum and support senior staff in the design and delivery of educational and self-management resources and web-based learning.

The team

The Integrated Mental Health Service is a part of the Rewards, Recognition and Well-being team within the Talent organization. This team focuses on the strategic delivery of services to address employee mental health and psychological performance which can range from optimal function to emotional distress experiences. This team shapes the design, development, and implementation efforts of programs to support the mental health strategy for all Deloitte businesses.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in behavior health related field (e.g., clinical psychology, counseling, social work) or Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-doctoral/post-master’s clinical experience
  • Licensure in field of practice (e.g., LP, LPC, LCSW)
  • Knowledge of clinical, substance abuse, and dual diagnosis populations with experience in inpatient, intensive outpatient, chemical dependency practices
  • Understanding of workplace mental healthcare space, EAP core technologies, and key medical/behavioral healthcare market segments
  • Expertise in Microsoft applications
  • Experience with computerized case management systems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) credential
  • Certified Threat Assessment Professional credential
  • Finance services industry exposure
  • Exposure to either internal or external employee assistance programs and operations
  • Adherence to confidentiality issues and the ability to act in compliance with local, state, federal law and appropriate, industry guidelines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
  • Advanced problem identification/assessment and case conceptualization skills, referral experience, and case management proficiencies
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities areas in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring concept to deliverable
  • Ability to operate from individual frame of reference across diverse groups and cultures
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts to fit the audience
