Assistant Professor- Pulmonary – Medicine, Memphis – University of Tennessee Health Science Center – Memphis, TN

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking full-time faculty members for its Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Division to build a center of excellence for Critical Care Medicine. This is a Non-Tenured Track Position. Academic rank commensurate with experience.

Clinical, educational and research activities of the Division are performed at Regional One Health and adjacent educational institutions of the UTHSC-College of Medicine. The qualified individual will participate in inpatient and outpatient fellowship training and is expected to develop clinical and/or basic science investigation. This position will be 90% of patient care with training Pulmonary fellows, and 10% of teaching & research.


Qualifications

  • Applicant must have an MD/DO degree and be eligible for Tennessee licensure.
  • Board eligibility/certification in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, are minimal requirements.

Sleep qualifications/eligibility and/or Interventional Bronchoscopy advance training are strongly desired.
