RN Hospice Admin Coordinator – MaineHealth – Brunswick, ME

Position Summary

• The Hospice Admission Coordinator will be primarily responsible for completing hospice admissions in a timely manner, working in collaboration with referral resources and Intake department, clinical manager and scheduler to ensure a timely and smooth admission process. Ordering DME supplies as well as setting up new patients electronically as needed. This position will also be responsible for certain clinical work flow reports.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current State of Maine RN License. Maine Driver’s license. Current CPR BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in hospice
• Clinical Ladder III level achieved
