We currently have an opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician III to work in the Transfusion Service Laboratories. Responsibilities include: promotes and advances the mission of Bloodworks in saving lives by achieving excellence in Transfusion Service order management, applying critical thinking in the selection, preparation and distribution of components, participating in quality functions, and by providing exceptional customer service and transfusion safety to our patients, hospitals and patient care partners in the community.

Requirements include:

  • Must qualify as Testing Personnel, Moderate Complexity Testing, under CLIA personnel requirements found in Subpart M of the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • In addition, two years of post-secondary education, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Current available schedules:
2nd shift: 3-11:30pm

Mid-shift: 12-8:30pm

Full vaccination against COVID-19 (defined as two weeks after receiving final vaccine dose), or approved medical or religious exemption to the vaccine, is a condition of this role.
